Differences are bound to happen when you are of the same age. Especially when the person with whom you have difference of opinions is your twin brother. Right from our childhood days we had this issue with us. There were some instances when we both were on one side which would for sure amuse our parents. They wonder what makes us stick together for some points where in for majority of the time we are distance apart.
During our school days, we never wanted to be together. We used to argue with our parents about joining different schools. That days our parents never minded as they thought it was just about privacy and also being a kid they thought our mentality will change. But to their surprise we were the same even when we joined college. We both were in different college purposefully and we never use to share each other things. To make matter worse we didn’t even shared each other things. Our parents always used to get annoyed with our behavior. All their efforts to make us go together went in vain. It was not that we had any issues with each other. We were pretty cool with each other. Neither my brother nor I used to fight with each other but we were happy without each other.
Down the year, after our graduation when we both got some good job, our parents asked us to start investing in some properties. As they thought that we are staying together for them. The fact they asked us to look out for some properties didn’t went down well with me. Later I came to know even my brother had the same feeling. It was only after this we started thinking about our parents. We used to get home by time and if any one of us gets stuck up somewhere we used to call other and inform them about the delay.
Later we used to call each other for planning the day’s activities.
We even bought a holiday package from Pancard club investment scheme. The scheme was initiated by PUL (Panoramic Universal Ltd.) company. Initially the scheme got caught in some sort of controversy. Many people started terming the scheme as fraud and scam, which made us skip a heartbeat. But after sometime we came to know all that had nothing to do with the Pancard Club Investment Scheme. All that grapevine of company being fraud and cheating its members with scam investment were put to rest when, we family had a get together in their resort.
Now, I and my brother still are the same. We share the same big house with our respective wife. Our wife enjoys each other’s company and they are best of the friends. For us we have our own world of friends but we still respect each other and are together at any family function.
